When I read your post, I recalled Hindley (Catherine's sister) from "Wuthering Heights". It's been at least a decade since I read that novel and my memory of the book is quite blurred. But was it in the book that Hindley is left and locked in a cellar by Heathcliff to get drunk and die?
i wonder if zakariya razi was just another single guy feeling a bit lonely, so he starts leaving different substances in close proximity of single women around him, and one night he gets lucky in a bar and voila, he discovers alcohol... i mean how else?

MehdiMK,
I don't seem to remember that part. Wasn't that in Jane Eyre where Mr. Rochester left his x-wife in a secret room or whatever?
Shahin,
I'd go for that theory... makes Razi a lot more interesting at least :)
